Surprised by the drawing pens

Yesterday; I received my new order of drawing pens. No big deal only this time I noticed something different about them.

The packaging was all written in what I thought at first was Japanese. Now, I'm no expert in Japanese but I know some common characters don't look like Chinese.

These are characters were Chinese!

Chinese factors have realized that Micron ink pens are the industry standard and now they are copying them. I have nothing against Chinese products but often times they produce imitations of the original. Which is just that....an imitation. Even the outer color of the pens are the same color as the Japanese Micron.

I feel duped. The difference I can see between these brands is that the Chinese Microns have a wedge tip for calligraphy.

There is only one way to know which brand is better, and that's to try them out.
